A lot of times we meet people that make us lose hope. They say things to us that disappoint us. They tell us how haram we and our actions are, and how evil we have become. Don’t confuse the disappointment people have with you, with the disappointment Allah might have with you; they are not the same thing. Your parents, husband, wife, friends’, and Imam’s disappointment with you are not the same as Allah’s disappointment with you. People can put you down, and they will, but Allah will never abandon you so long as you don’t.
